What we do

Our service begins with an initial consultation, from which we will prepare feasilbility drawings. After this, we can take you through the entire loft conversion process, consulting with architects, Local Authority building officers and specialist tradespeople, obtaining all necessary materials, constructing your ideal loft and ensuring that your premises are left clean and tidy every single day of the project.

In essence, there are two primary types of roof suitable for loft conversions:

  • Gable ends
The end of the roof is vertical, usually constructed of brickwork. This would be typical of a mid-terrace property.
  • Hip ends
The end of the roof is at an angle, and normally tiled. This would be typical of a semi-detached property.

Options

  • Velux roof windows
Windows that are fitted in the same plane as the existing roof line, to achieve light.
  • Dormers
Vertical projections from the original roof line, to achieve increased loft space and headroom.

For a wide range of examples, see the Identify Your Roof section.
